Did Mrs Thatcher kill youthful idealism? Well whether she is guilty of this or not, she certainly changed the character of the country and many of you will be money grabbing little b******* who think of no-one but themselves and mistake the idea of ‘value’ for ‘money’. Worth reading the book Dark Heart by Nick Davies is if you’re truly avaricious and materialistic...

But anyhoo...in the real world, some of you will work for big companies and earn lots of money and this section has information on a variety of companies. For information on other companies (including those who the research assistant for this project considered too morally reprehensible to include) you should try the website of the International Chamber of Commerce which has links to the websites of many of its members. Companies

Ernst & Young
Have information on UK careers and vacancies. In addition, they have a global "Career Centre". 

Ericsson
Has a section dedicated to careers (including a search). Corporate information is also available.

IBM
Has a large job and careers section, including pages dedicated to recruitment of UK graduates Also of interest may be the UK careers Home page.

KLM
Information on jobs and careers.

Proctor & Gamble
This site covers jobs and careers with PG in western europe, including the UK.

Sony
Sony now has a dedicated global careers site and includes information about the Sony European graduate programme.

Thomas Cook
Iinformation on Jobs. There is recruitment information about Neilson, a subsidiary that deals with "active" holidays aimed more at young people.

Unilever
A new and improved site. Includes Company Information and Careers.

Volvo (The Volvo Group)
Careers and Corporate information available.
Volvo cars has a separate website. For jobs and career information, you now have to select the relevant country first, and then use the "About Us" section.

Before you get too successful you might want to think about this. How much money can you earn and still have a clear conscience? This much?

But if you fancy doing something a bit more ethical, you could look at the NGO page...or here is some information on what might be described as more ethical companies...(how exactly we decide upon what is ethical is, however, subject to debate!)
