What the ECDL/ICDL covers

The qualification covers common office software(such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access MS Office suite), plus email and internet, file management and some general IT knowledge. The seven modules that make up the qualification are:

Basic concepts of IT
Using the computer and managing files
Word processing
Spreadsheets
Databases
Presentations
Internet and email
