10 reasons why you would want to do the ECDL/ICDL

1. The ECDL/ICDL is great for CVs and is internationally recognised.
2. No prior knowledge is needed. If you want to develop your IT skills, it's a very useful qualification. 
3. …On the other hand, if you already have good IT skills, but no qualification to prove it, it's a great way to demonstrate what you can do.
4. You can sit the exams without studying the materials, if you want to.  We have some Confidence Matrices and Diagnostic Tests that can help you gauge if you're ready to do this.
5. There is no charge for attending any of the sessions . We only make a charge for your registration to take the ECDL qualification and the tests that you take to cover the cost we have to pay to the external providers.
6. It's very flexible: you can take as long as you like (up to three years) and access the training materials online.
7. You can take the modules in what ever order you like (even simultaneously).
8. If you only want to do some of the modules, you can.
9. It's highly portable—you can do some modules with us, then more elsewhere later, if you like.
