Listening
The BBC offers some of the best resources for students of any language.
To help build your Spanish listening comprehension skills, it has
a library of recorded material on a range of interesting issues. Many
of them are accompanied by reading texts, comprehension and vocabulary
exercises, and games. Follow the steps below:
- Visit the BBC Languages Spanish site. This will take you to a page
containing a series of thematically organised links
- Try clicking on the “Spain and Europe” link
- Now, click on “Espana: lavar platos por ley”, followed
by the “listen” link. You will hear a report that discusses
a new law that seeks to promote a fairer division of labour between
men and women in the home
- Now, try some of the other pages and links. Note that not all
of them contain recorded material.
