There are increasing opportunities to watch the television on the Internet. Arguably, the best place to watch French television is the website. Follow the steps below:

• Visit the TF1 site : http://videos.tf1.fr/video/news/0,,3898947,00-journal-televise-juillet-.html. It will start up automatically with the latest news bulletin.
• You can either watch the whole bulletin (30mins approx.) or choose to watch a particular news by clicking on one of the headlines listed under ‘Les sujets du journal’

 TIP : If you find it difficult to watch the news in French, try choosing a report on an issue that you already know something about from reading/listening to the English news first. Your background knowledge and understanding of the issue will help with comprehension.
