About LTSU
The Learning & Teaching Support
Team is here to help and to provide:
- Development and support
- ‘In-module’ support
- VLP Superuser and champion
- QuestionMark champion (for computer
aided assessment)
- ECDL Test Centre Manager (European
Computer Driving Licence)
- Liaison with Academic Team Leaders
You can call on this team to provide
a variety of services:
- Staff development – either group sessions
or one-one sessions (* see note below).
- Materials advice and production – where
possible, the team can offer help with the production
of L&T materials working to your brief.
- In-module support and advice to facilitate
the integration of IT elements e.g.
HIST25301, JOUR41401, MCLT12901.
Advice on alternative
and complimentary delivery modes (re-specification
would be a good time to look at this).
Facilities
Learning & Teaching Support Facilities for
staff use providing:
- Studio with 4 AV media PCs
- Video editing & production
- Audio editing & production
- Digital photo & image editing
- Scanning (image and paper to digital
document conversion)
- Computer Aided Assessment
- Adobe Acrobat PDF creation
- Other specialist L & T software
- One to one or small group training
