Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Frequently asked questions about the SANAKO Media Assistant player
We have chosen to deliver the audio files for your language study through the use of the SANAKO Media Assistant player for several reasons:
- The SANAKO Media Assistant player is based on the traditional language laboratory style cassette deck and allows you to record your responses while listening to the original audio track.
- Using the SANAKO Media Assistant player allows us to deliver more than just the audio file. we can attach text windows with subtitles, questions or copyright information.
- The delivery of the audio files is through the use of small file known as a .dim file. The link doesn't access actual media file and therefore does not allow the user to save the media file locally. This is important in gaining permission from commercial publishers to make their audio files available through our virtual learning environment, the VLP.
